The two climbers summited on Sunday August 8, after five days on the wall, plus one day waiting for a weather window.
"The route follows approximately a rocky "snake-line" which crosses the wall near the classical WSW rib. "The weather was marginal," Anna Piunova wrote.
A complete report and images are expected as soon as the climbers return home.
Gleb Sokolov (55) was nominated last year for Piolet d'Or for the boldness Pobeda new route climbed together with Vitaliy Gorelik.
