Polish Winter Broad Peak 2012-13: last crevasses crossed

(Newsdesk) Maciej Berbeka, Adam Bielecki, Artur Małek, Tomasz Kowalski left 7400 meter for the summit (8047m).
Two hours ago they were crossing the last crevasse at 7850m; just 50 meters short to the pass, reports Jan Komorowski to ExWeb. The weather is ok!
Artur Hajzer, Leader of the "Polish Winter Himalayan Mountaineering 2010-2015", reported on Facebook that the 4 men started their summit attack at 5h15 local time on March 5th. The weather forecast for tomorrow is now also good. The push to the top should take about 3 hours, says Hajzer.
Mountain team leader Krzysztof Wielicki is at Base Camp with Shaheen Baig and Amin Ullah. Karim Hayyat is waiting at 7400m for the summit team.
