(Newsdesk) Update from Artur Hajzer, Leader of the Polish Himalayan Winter 2010 - 2015, 12.30 (local time): "The attack continues! About 12.30 local time Maciej Berbeka and Adam Bielecki reached the pass at an altitude of 7900 m above sea level. Artur Małek and Tomasz Kowalski were on their way to the pass.

"Time to the top (8047m), depending on the conditions, remained between 1.5 and 2.5 hours of climbing. Conditions continue to be favorable."

Four hours later update by home based Artur: "At 13.30 Polish time on March 5, we have no new information. There has been no contact from Base Camp. We can only guess any assumptions and that they continue climbing; where you cannot disturb them, even with a short radio connection."

"According to my assessment (guesses), the team is going down in a hurry. There is no other choice but to wait patiently. The information will appear as soon as we receive it."

Mountain team leader Krzysztof Wielicki is at Base Camp with Shaheen Baig and Amin Ullah. Karim Hayyat is waiting at 7400m for the summit team.
