(Newsdesk/RussianClimb) Only yesterday Denis Urubko, Alex Txikon and Adam Bielecki were positive about their K2 Northside expedition. The team had changed outfitter agency and hoped the new one would get them a permit by early January.
However, RussianClimb reported today that Denis Urubko received a letter from Chinese authorities stating that the team will not be granted a permit due to high terrorist activity in the north-west part of the country.
