Pythom News Feed

Attempts to scale Everest without oxygen support returned disappointing results on both sides this weekend.

Elisabeth Revol, Ralf Dujmovits, Yannick Graziani, Sherpa Dawa Sangay all turned back high up on Everest due to bad weather.

Using bottled gas Ferran Latorre reached the summit on the south side, the only peak in his now finished 14 x 8000ers quest climbed with oxygen support.

Kuriki descended. Cory Richards summited Everest using bottled oxygen.
