Montagna notified Pythom/Explorersweb Michele Cucchi found a corpse wearing a boot on K2 after the big avalanche that swept the slope over camp 3 a few weeks ago. Only the boot was recognizable.
Michele carried the remains to the Gilkey Memorial, hoping that sharing the image could help find the climber’s name.
