Everest north side climber checks in
The former Amical guide reached KTM from Everest North side yesterday and checked in with Exweb/Pythom as well as fellow German mountaineering journalist Stefan Nestler.
Thomas Lammle told us that after acclimatizing on Cho Oyu, he summited Everest in alpine stile without O2 and sherpa in just 4 days.
He started alone on summit push at 2 am from C3, and reached the summit at 2 pm on May 23rd. There he proposed to his girlfriend.
Thomas carried all his gear but “took to the bottle” on descent. In today’s Pythom World News Feed Nestler tells more.
