A Polish woman has died in this fall’s first casualty on Manaslu. Fifty-year-old Rita Donata Bladyko had reached just above Camp 4 at 8,000m on a five-person Polish expedition. She complained of hypothermia and had to descend, helped by her teammates, according to The Himalayan Times. Bladyko died at Camp 3, presumably of altitude issues.
