It’s past 4 pm in Pakistan — sunset is in just over an hour — and summit news has not yet arrived. Mingma G and Chhang Dawa Sherpa reported that the team was 200m below the summit three hours ago. Dawa noted that the lead climbers would wait for the rest of the team, so that everyone could reach the top together.
