Olympics, magic flights and fiery editorials
Climbing and surfing in the Olympics made waves this week. Guinness Book of Records starred in a fiery editorial, meanwhile a Broad Peak Birdman showed what it’s like when life, above medals and records, becomes our favorite adventure.
Also, an interview about the big ice fields, and among few highlights this thin Karakoram summit season: having to surrender the Shining Wall – shortly after topping Broad Peak a Slovenian duo reached North Summit of Gasherbrum IV.
