Mark Agnew is the founder and former editor for the Outdoor & Extreme sports section of the South China Morning Post in Hong Kong. He is now a freelance journalist based in the UK, continuing to cover adventure sports. He is also a keynote speaker and an author – his first book There Will Be Headwinds is due to be published in 2025 by Icon Books. He is happiest when hiking or kayaking in the mountains and coastline of his homeland, Scotland, and is an adventure history fanatic.
