The four members of the Fixe-Koshkil Systems team impressed by Shipton Expire’s wall, reached in good shape to BC
The trekking to Shipton Spire through the Trango glacier has been harder than expected cause it is broken everywhere, and the weather has been really hot during all the way. But, Ekaitz Maiz, Txus Lizarraga, José Montero and Martí Iglesias have already reached the Base Camp point. They are tired but in good shape, and they recognized that the first view of the Shipton Spire tower impressed them, and at the same time gave extra-motivation.
Next will be to explore the best way to reach the base of Shipton Spire, crossing the glacier, and once they get it carrying there all the climbing gear needed for the challenge: they want to open a new route at the west face of Shipton Spire (5,852m).
