The Most Radical Adventure Pix Ever

Well, ok, that’s an exaggeration, but Red Bull has always put the money and effort into getting dramatic images from its athletes. How many lawyers and waivers and fees did it take, you have to wonder, to set up that shot below with the jumbo jet? It’s true that in many of the images below, the action has been set up specifically for the photo. But that’s often the case in adventure photography. The best shots are rarely grab shots.

Yet these inspiring images also teach us — about cool places, rare niche sports, like ice-skateboarding on a frozen Holland canal, or just beautiful clean framing. Enjoy.
