Even for icebergs — it’s hard to keep it up in the cold.
This weekend, an undeniably phallic iceberg broke the internet after a Newfoundland man snapped some drone photos and shared them on social media. But the joke possibilities stretch out on this one.
The photographer’s hometown? It’s called Dildo.
The place where the “dickie berg” reared its head? It’s called Conception Bay.
When the truth is stranger than fiction — and shows Mother Nature is just as dirty as the rest of us — the internet can’t hide its arousal.
But the excitement proved too much for the icy erection, which had already lost its tip by Monday morning.
However, the iceberg-sleuthing photographer, Ken Pretty, still managed to keep it up for a second round. He posted a remembrance video with the only song capable of capturing the berg’s significance: Sarah McLachlan’s “I Will Remember You.”
“Gone but not forgotten,” Pretty wrote on the post. “Forever in our hearts.”
