Horia Colibasanu finally managed to get on a flight to Munich today. He woke up at 5 a.m. and joined a large crowd at the airport. “There are about 400 of us and nearly none of us is German,” he posted on FaceBook. Among other passengers, he met the Ukrainian climbers he had previously seen at Everest two years ago. But as he learned two days earlier, he was on the waiting list, successfully boarded the flight and eventually, wings up, back to Europe.
