“Mission achieved,” Nirmal Purja reported today from the summit of Shishapangma. According to the Nepali climber, Mingma David Sherpa, Geljen Sherpa and Gesman Tamang also reached the top.
Further details on the climb are expected as soon as the team returns to Base Camp.
Purja has stunned the climbing community by climbing all 14 8,000’ers in just seven months.
