Montagna reports Indian mountaineer Rajib Bhattacharya, 43, died in camp 3 on Dhaulagiri this afternoon after complaining of snow blindness after summit. The death was confirmed to the Italian news agency by Pemba Sherpa of Seven Summit Treks agency.
Bhattacharya had climbed Everest in 2011 and Kanchenjunga in 2013.
Four foreign climbers were reported to have summited the peak this morning.
